The Peninsula New York continues Kitchen Table Chef Dinner, a monthly dinner series taking place at Clement Restaurant.

Each month, guests will enjoy an interactive multi-course dinner alongside Clement’s creative culinary team. Each dinner will focus on seasonal themes or regions, where guests will have the undivided attention of the chef throughout the entire evening with the ability to ask questions, share recipes and gain a true understanding of the inspiration behind the menu.

21 October: Oktoberfest

Embark on a culinary tour thru the Wiesn in Munich as we celebrate Oktoberfest with a special Kitchen Table Dinner! Led by Clement Chef Jim Reutemann, the seven-course menu will feature classic bites that he enjoyed as a child in Germany and perfected the art of cooking in culinary school in Austria. The Bavarian-themed evening will begin with pretzels and currywurst, followed by a range of traditional plated courses including Cheese Spätzle, Wiener Schnitzel and more. A selection of authentic Munich beers will be served throughout the night.

Grilled peppers in malzbier gelee, radishes and chilled cucumber soup

Cheese Spätzle
Melted German cheese variation with spätzle, topped with crispy onion and chives and served with Schwarzbier

With creamy Chanterelle mushroom sauce, Crispy Speck and pickled red onion
